Galaxy Digital has launched a collateralized lending service for retail clients, allowing them to borrow cash without selling their crypto holdings.

The Block reported on Aug. 26 that Galaxy Digital rolled out a product called the Crypto Portfolio Line of Credit through its retail platform, GalaxyOne. The revolving credit line lets clients pledge Bitcoin, Ether and Solana as collateral to borrow either US dollars or the stablecoin USDC. Staked SOL also qualifies as collateral.

“We can now offer a secured lending product with competitive rates, security and flexibility by using Galaxy’s institutional-grade infrastructure,” GalaxyOne Managing Director Jack Prince said in a statement.

The product carries an annual interest rate of 8.99%, charges no origination fee and disburses funds immediately. Galaxy said it does not rehypothecate posted collateral. The service is currently available in 40 US states.

Earlier this year, Galaxy Digital launched GOFR, a managed lending program for institutional investors and high-net-worth clients. GalaxyOne launched in October 2025 as a platform offering integrated crypto and stock trading across the US.
