16-Year-Old Sanyogita Bobba Brings Fresh Perspective with her AP Microeconomics Textbook, Winning Acclaim from Academics

At just 16 years old, Sanyogita Bobba has taken a pioneering step in student-led education by authoring A 5 Scoring Student’s Guide to AP Microeconomics – the first AP Microeconomics textbook written by a student.

Her textbook is already drawing wide attention for its clarity, exam-oriented strategies, and its ability to
simplify complex ideas for learners.

Covering the full Advanced Placement Microeconomics curriculum, this textbook serves as a comprehensive, exam-focused guide. It features worked examples, over 80 detailed economics graphs,
practice questions, and chapter-end drills to reinforce learning. Authored by Sanyogita Bobba, who achieved a perfect 5/5 score on the AP Microeconomics exam, this textbook is designed to help students excel while deepening their conceptual understanding. Remarkably, the entire textbook was crafted using more than 8,000 lines of LaTeX code, reflecting both Sanyogita’s technical expertise and commitment to creating a high-quality, student-centered resource.

Distinguished educators praise it as “a book made by a student, for students” (Mr Arjun Jayadev, Azim
Premji University), noting its “clarity and precision that belie the author’s age, a freshness of perspective that only youth can bring, and an academic rigor worthy of any seasoned scholar” (Mr ACV Subrahmanyam, BITS Pilani). Others call it “a must-have resource” that is “meticulously crafted yet refreshingly simple” (Dr Chandraiah Godugu, NIPER) and “a guide that anticipates each and every question a first-time learner might have” (Principal Farida Fraz, IISH).

Beyond its academic merit, the book is also being recognized for its inspiring story of initiative and
self-motivation. Sanyogita hopes her work encourages other students to take ownership of their learning and contribute to educational resources themselves. This guide demonstrates that students can take charge of their own learning, create resources that genuinely help their peers, and make studying smarter – not harder.

Speaking about her phenomenal work, Sanyogita explained, “When I self-studied this course in ninth grade, I realized how overwhelming AP Microeconomics could be without the right resources. I wanted to create the textbook I wished I had. One that makes economics engaging, simple, and less intimidating for students. My hope is that it empowers others to approach the subject with confidence.”

With strong reviews from academics and enthusiastic reception from students, A 5 Scoring Student’s Guide to AP Microeconomics is being recognized as a notable achievement in student-led educational resources. It is available NOW in paperback and hardcover on Amazon, Flipkart, Barnes & Nobles, Notion Press, and other select educational stores worldwide.
