CBSE 2024 Board Exams: CBSE Class 12 economics exam analysis by teachers and feedback received from students after the end of exam.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today conducted the economics paper of Class 12. The paper was moderate with a mix of direct, analytical and application-based questions, say experts. The difficulty level of the CBSE 2024 the economics Class 12 questions was moderate.
According to Swati Urmil, HOD Economics, Bhai Parmanand Vidya Mandir, there economics paper comprised of application based questions which needed a thorough study and understanding of the topics and chapters.

“Overall the questions were from the prescribed syllabus and entirely based on the pattern of the latest sample paper issued by CBSE,” she added.
Regarding section-wise difficulty level, the HOD further added: “Both section A (Macro Economic Theory) and section B (Indian Economic Development) had tricky one mark and 4 marks questions. The question paper was moderately designed with questions to analyse the student’s conceptual understanding. Overall the paper covered all aspects of the curriculum.”
The economics exam was held for 80 marks and was divided into six sections –
20 MCQs (20 marks), 4 short answer type questions (12 marks), 6 short answer type questions (24 marks) and 4 long answer type questions (24 marks).
