Goldstorm Economics First, CBS Optionality Later: How Tudor Gold’s Silver Discovery Fits the Development Timeline – Article

  • Tudor Gold reported results from its 2 most recent holes at the CBS Zone, Treaty Creek Project, Golden Triangle, British Columbia.
  • The company identified a new, higher grade silver rich breccia target, headlined by an intercept of 61.28 grams per tonne silver over 34.15 meters.
  • The same 2 holes extended a previously known gold rich breccia system toward the Goldstorm Deposit.
  • The CBS Zone sits outside the current Goldstorm Deposit resource, which underpins a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) on placing the deposit into production as an underground mine, which the company states is now underway.
  • Drill rigs have moved to the Perfectstorm Zone for the summer and are scheduled to return to the CBS Zone in September 2026 to follow up the silver intercept.

Tudor Gold (TSXV: TUD) holds an 80% interest in the Treaty Creek Project, a 17,913 hectare land package in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, bordering Seabridge Gold Inc.’s KSM property to the southwest and Newmont Corporation’s Brucejack Mine property to the southeast. Treaty Creek’s Goldstorm Deposit is the company’s primary development asset; the CBS, Eureka and Perfectstorm zones sit nearby as separate gold discoveries. Tudor reported results on July 7, 2026 from the first 2 holes drilled at the CBS Zone this season.

A Silver Zone Turns Up Below Known Gold Mineralization

Drilling at the CBS Zone has typically returned gold. The latest hole did something different: it intersected a silver rich breccia deeper in the system than anything previously tested, grading 61.28 grams per tonne silver and 0.09 g/t gold over 34.15 meters, including a higher grade section of 201.84 g/t silver over 7.20 meters. Tudor said the interval ties into an earlier, lower grade silver hit from a previous hole at the zone and a set of surface chip samples that had already flagged silver at surface, an indication the system may be broader than the gold footprint alone suggested. The company described the target as open, with follow up drilling planned once the rigs finish their current program.

Gold Footprint Widens Toward Goldstorm

The same 2 holes also grew the CBS Zone’s established gold system, extending it further along strike and up dip, in the direction of the Goldstorm Deposit. Tudor interprets the breccia hosting both metals as a high fluid flow corridor within a broader high sulfidation system, and reads the new silver zone as evidence the structure hosts more than 1 style of precious metal mineralization.

Rigs Move to Perfectstorm, CBS Follow Up Waits Until September

Rather than chase the silver hit immediately, Tudor’s 2 drill rigs have shifted to the Perfectstorm Zone, where the target is porphyry style gold, silver and copper mineralization in potassic altered diorite, the same host rock associated with Goldstorm. That program is expected to run through the summer, with the rigs not scheduled back at CBS until September 2026. Treaty Creek sits in a Golden Triangle corridor that already hosts producing and past producing mines, including the adjacent KSM and Brucejack properties.

Where CBS Fits in the Goldstorm Development Case

The distinction that matters for investors is that CBS sits outside the current Goldstorm resource. Tudor is separately advancing a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) on bringing Goldstorm into production as an underground mine, which the company states is now underway. Because the CBS silver zone falls outside that resource base and will not be drill tested again until September, it has no path to influence the PEA now in progress. Goldstorm itself remains open in all directions, and Tudor has filed a permit application for an underground ramp to access the high grade gold SC-1 Zone.

The Resource Behind the Development Case

Goldstorm’s resource, from a NI 43-101 technical report dated November 30, 2025, stands at Indicated Mineral Resources of 24.9 million ounces of gold and 148.7 million ounces of silver, with a smaller Inferred Mineral Resource and a copper credit in both categories.

What the CBS Discovery Means for Tudor Gold Investors

Tudor Gold’s near term case is the Goldstorm PEA, now underway against an Indicated resource of 24.9 million ounces of gold and 148.7 million ounces of silver. The CBS silver discovery sits outside that resource and stays untested until September 2026, making it optionality alongside the Goldstorm case rather than an input into it. A standalone underground development case for Goldstorm, once published, gives investors a base against which CBS or Perfectstorm results could later be measured as incremental additions rather than value assumed ahead of an economic study. The 80% owned Treaty Creek land package, flanked by Seabridge Gold’s KSM and Newmont’s Brucejack Mine, keeps the asset inside an established production corridor.
