NESG: Nigeria needs to embed industrialisation within macroeconomic policy

There is an urgent need for scaled, integrated approach that embeds industrialisation within macroeconomic policy, enables patient capital flows, supports workforce development, and fosters public-private collaboration. That’s the stance of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. Senior Economist at the Group, Wilson Erumebor, notes the Government needs to prioritise sectors with comparative advantage and job creation potential, such as agro-processing, pharmaceuticals, green technologies, and digital manufacturing.
