The minimum investment threshold of Rs 10 lakh shall apply exclusively to investments under SIF and shall not include investments made by the investor in JioBlackRock Mutual Fund schemes. The minimum application amount for lump sum investment will be Rs 10 lakh and any amount thereafter.
On a continuous basis, the minimum application amount (lump sum) will be Rs 10,000 and any amount thereafter.
This fund will allocate 35% to 75% in equity and equity-related instruments, 25% to 65% in debt and money market instruments, 0% to 25% in short exposure through unhedged derivative positions in equity and debt instruments, and 0% to 20% in units of InvITs.
The fund may invest in merger arbitrage opportunities. These arise when one company announces the acquisition of another company on a share-swap basis, leading to an arbitrage opportunity where buying one in the cash market and selling the other in the futures market can deliver returns.

The collar strategy systematically generates income using long underlying stock or futures, call writing, and downside protection via put options, with stocks selected based on factors such as option liquidity, signal research scores, and other relevant metrics. This allows the fund to earn options premium income while hedging tail events.

The fund will be suitable for investors who are seeking long-term capital appreciation with income generation and want an interval investment strategy investing predominantly in equity and debt securities, including limited short exposure in equity and debt through derivatives.

The principal invested in this fund will be at risk band level 2, according to the riskometer of the fund.

According to the fund house, Prism SIF by JioBlackRock is a specialised investment fund built on a risk-first, data-driven investment philosophy. Like a prism that refracts light into multiple spectra, Prism SIF deploys capital across diversified strategies, designed to adapt across market cycles and seek more balanced outcomes.
