Revolut opens access to private market funds

Revolut has introduced private market funds on its platform for eligible customers in Europe through collaboration with Apollo, Ares, Hamilton Lane and Partners Group.

The offering gives individual investors access to assets across private equity, private credit and private infrastructure through fund structures intended for non-institutional investors.

The funds available through the platform are being set up under the EU’s ELTIF 2.0 regime, known as the European Long-Term Investment Fund framework.

Revolut said these are evergreen ELTIF 2.0 funds and that they include periodic liquidity windows.

The funds are reviewed by its internal fund selection team, which examines investment approach, past performance, operational strength and the ability to operate through different market conditions.

Revolut, which said it has 75 million customers globally, stated that the new product is aimed at experienced investors with a long-term investment horizon.

Fund management and performance fees apply.

The company’s app already includes other investment products such as US and European Economic Area (EEA) shares, exchange traded funds (ETFs), money market funds, bonds, Robo-Advisor and contract for difference (CFD) trading.

It also offers automatic ETF investment plans and Robo-Advisor portfolio management within the app.

Revolut EEA wealth and trading head Rolandas Juteika said: “Private markets have long been the missing asset class in the average investor’s portfolio, not for lack of interest, but for lack of access. By partnering with giants like Apollo, Ares, Hamilton Lane, and Partners Group, we are completely changing that dynamic.

“This isn’t just about offering lower entry points, it’s about giving our users the tools to build sophisticated, diversified, and resilient portfolios for the long term. These funds are intentionally structured for patient capital, matching the true nature of private assets, and we believe they will fundamentally level the playing field between everyday portfolios and institutional private markets investment strategies.”

“Revolut opens access to private market funds” was originally created and published by Private Banker International, a GlobalData owned brand.
