SBI Funds Management delivered a more stable quarter. The fund house outperformed in key equity metrics, reported a smaller decline in debt AUM, and witnessed a relatively lower sequential drop in SIP inflows compared with ICICI Prudential AMC.

Asset managers SBI Funds Management Ltd. and ICICI Prudential AMC have both reported a largely steady performance for Q1FY27, although their growth trends differed.

ICICI Prudential AMC posted a faster pace of growth during the quarter, supported by stronger expansion in non-equity and debt assets under management (AUM).

However, a sharp increase in operating costs weighed on profitability despite stable yields on a sequential basis.

SBI Funds Management, on the other hand, delivered a more stable quarter.The fund house outperformed in key equity metrics, reported a smaller decline in debt AUM, and witnessed a relatively lower sequential drop in SIP inflows compared with ICICI Prudential AMC.
