The sponsorship has funded a rabbit and hare enclosure, along with a dedicated hedgehog enclosure.

Alexandra Smith, manager at Whitby Wildlife Sanctuary, said: “Barratt and David Wilson Homes support means a great deal to us and will make a real difference to the animals in our care.

“The sponsorship of our rabbit, hare, and hedgehog enclosures will help us continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect vulnerable wildlife, giving these animals the best chance of recovery and return to the wild.”

The partnership aligns with the housebuilder’s nearby schemes, including Barratt Homes’ Abbey View and David Wilson Homes’ Chaloners Green developments.

Both offer a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom properties.
