GFH Bank and Octo Management Launch $300M Logistics and Industrial Platform in UAE and Saudi Arabia – News and Statistics

GFH Bank revealed on June 9 that it had entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding with Octo Management Consultancies. The collaboration is designed to create a logistics and industrial real estate platform worth $300 million, covering the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

According to senior GFH representatives at the signing event held during the 2026 Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the venture aims to leverage robust growth drivers in the GCC’s logistics and industrial sectors. These drivers include the swift rise of e-commerce, localization of supply chains, expansion in manufacturing, and significant infrastructure projects in both nations.

Per the agreement, GFH will take on the roles of Investment Manager and development partner for the platform. The platform will focus solely on logistics and industrial development projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, covering large-scale warehousing, multi-tenant industrial properties, cold storage units, and distribution hubs. The approach will primarily aim at development-stage assets, with a combination of build-to-suit and speculative projects intended to meet rising tenant demand and generate long-term value.

Luay Ahmadi, Managing Director and Global Head of Institutions at GFH, remarked that this partnership enhances GFH’s standing as a premier regional developer and manager of top-tier industrial and logistics assets. He pointed out that the logistics sector in the UAE and Saudi Arabia continues to gain from strong structural advantages, driven by economic diversification, growing trade volumes, and ongoing need for contemporary warehousing and distribution facilities. Ahmadi further noted that this collaboration underscores GFH’s ongoing commitment to targeting thematic sectors with solid long-term prospects and offering attractive investment opportunities through careful development and asset management. He also expressed enthusiasm for using the firm’s regional knowledge and track record to assemble a high-quality collection of institutional-grade logistics assets in both countries.

Jekaterina Cernova, Founder of Octo Management, stated that the partnership targets one of the region’s most appealing and rapidly expanding sectors. She said the goal is to offer investors access to premium logistics and industrial opportunities in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, backed by strong market conditions and GFH’s deep expertise in wealth and investment management. Cernova added that the platform is expected to invest in projects seeking favorable risk-adjusted returns through development skills, active asset management, and careful market selection.

GFH currently oversees assets and funds totaling roughly $24 billion, encompassing a global investment portfolio that spans the GCC, the US, and Europe, with exposure to logistics, healthcare, education, technology, and real estate.
