SAN JOSE – A real estate firm involved in a separate proposal for a data center in South San Jose has acquired a North San Jose tech and research building, documents show.
In a deal that points to rising values for the property, San Francisco-based Prologis Logistics Services Inc. paid $11.6 million for a building at 2304 Zanker Rd., documents filed July 14 at the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office show.
The selling entity was a Burlingame-based group headed up by business executives Igor Brener and Ahmed Kaddoura, records show.
Prologis bought the building for 26% more than the $9.2 million the sellers paid in October 2025.
The building totals 40,600 square feet, according to CBRE, a commercial real estate firm that had been marketing the property for sale.
Earlier this month, Prologis floated a proposal to develop a data center on Silver Creek Valley Rd. in South San Jose. The complex is slated to total 516,000 square feet, city planning files show.
