Bitcoin Falls Below $74,000 as Major Altcoins Decline

  • Bitcoin edged lower, falling below the $74,000 level.
  • Bitcoin was trading at $73,967.28, down 0.48%% from a day earlier, according to CoinMarketCap.
  • Major altcoins also moved lower, including Ether (ETH) and XRP.

Bitcoin edged lower, slipping below the $74,000 level.

As of 2:42 p.m. Korea Standard Time on May 15, Bitcoin was trading at $73,967.28, down 0.48% from a day earlier, according to CoinMarketCap. On Upbit’s won market, it was trading at 109.605 million won, down 0.25% from the previous day.

Major altcoins including Ether and XRP also moved lower. Ether was trading at $2,318.78, down 1.89% from a day earlier on CoinMarketCap, while XRP changed hands at $1.35, down 0.57%.
