I was in the audience last week when renowned Australian economist Bruce Chapman – known to many as the father of HECS – told us how the previous night he had correctly predicted the outcome of the final round of a popular Australian television quiz show.

Just before that final round began, Chapman said to the friend he was watching the show with: “Aaron and John will beat Jade in hitting the buzzer first, but they will not always be right.”
