Swiggy to Delhivery: 5 stocks where mutual funds raised stakes in Q1 FY27

Mutual funds placed their bets strategically in Q1 FY27, doubling down on select stocks even as the broader trend signaled a clear shift in investor preference.

While large-cap funds saw net outflows of ₹1,321 crore in July 2026, investors pivoted aggressively toward mid- and small-cap segments—with small-cap funds raking in ₹7,767.5 crore and mid-cap schemes attracting ₹6,192 crore.

Flexi-cap funds also saw healthy inflows of ₹4,709 crore during the month.

Against this backdrop of rotating capital, fund houses have been consistently increasing exposure to 104 companies from the NIFTY500 over the last four quarters, according to Ace Equity data.

Here are the top five stocks where mutual funds raised their stakes the most in Q1 FY27, ranging from food-delivery giant Swiggy to logistics player Delhivery, signaling strong conviction in these names despite broader market volatility.

Swiggy

Mutual funds have raised their stake in the food delivery company to 22.77% at the end of the first quarter of the current financial year from 20.23% they held in the previous quarter.

The fund houses have more than doubled their stake in the company from 9.85% they owned in the same quarter last year.

ICICI Prudential Multi-Asset Fund is the biggest stakeholder among mutual funds with a total stake of 3.87%. Nippon India Multi Cap Fund, Kotak Midcap Fund, Mirae Asset Large & Midcap Fund, Invesco India Arbitrage Fund, HDFC Large Cap Fund and Aditya Birla Sun Life Value Fund also own stakes in Swiggy.

Go Digit General Insurance

The country’s leading general insurance company has seen fund houses increase their stakes in the company to 8.86% at the end of the first quarter from 8.28% in the previous quarter.

Mutual funds owned 6.57% in the first quarter of the previous financial year.

Aditya Birla Sun Life ELSS Tax Saver Fund and Mirae Asset Large & Midcap Fund are the top fund houses owning a stake in the company.

Motherson Sumi Wiring

The Noida-based auto parts maker has seen mutual funds raise their stake in the company to 15.23% at the end of the June quarter from a 15.09% stake they owned in the previous quarter.

ICICI Prudential Dividend Yield Equity Fund, Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, 360 One Flexicap Fund, UTI Nifty Midsmallcap 400 Momentum Quality 100, and SBI Large & Midcap Fund are the top fund houses that own a stake in the company.

Delhivery

Mutual funds have increased their stake in the country’s leading logistics services provider to 39.26% at the end of the June quarter from 27.06% during the same period last year.

Tata Nifty500 Multicap Infrastructure 50:30:20 Index Fund, Canara Robeco Mid Cap Fund, Sundaram Mid Cap Fund, Axis Small Cap Fund, Invesco India Aggressive Hybrid Fund, HDFC BSE 500 Index Fund and SBI Arbitrage Opportunities Fund are the top mutual fund schemes that own a stake in the company.

Amber Enterprises

The country’s leading electronics manufacturing services company has seen mutual funds raise their stake in the company to 22.42% at the end of the first quarter, as against a 21.66% stake they owned in the previous quarter.

The fund houses owned a 14.41% stake in the company at the end of the June quarter of the previous financial year.

Motilal Oswal Nifty Alpha 50 ETF, Franklin India Multi Cap Fund, Sundaram Small Cap Fund, Invesco India Manufacturing Fund, HSBC Arbitrage Fund, HDFC Arbitrage Fund and DSP Arbitrage Fund are mutual fund schemes that own a stake in the company.

KFin Technologies, Jubilant Ingrevia, Signature Global, Shyam Metalics, InterGlobe Aviation, Data Pattern, Affle 3I, Adani Energy, Bandhan Bank, Global Health, and Acme Solar Holdings, among others, also saw fund houses consistently raise stakes over the last four quarters.
