Mumbai: ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has launched a new investor awareness campaign aimed at simplifying Flexicap investing through a relatable storytelling approach. The campaign seeks to build awareness and consideration for Flexicap Funds by highlighting how investors can access Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap companies through a single fund.
At the centre of the campaign is a digital film that uses a football match as a metaphor for investing. The film draws a parallel between a successful football team, where players with different strengths work together towards a common objective, and Flexicap Funds, which invest across Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap companies.
The campaign is based on the insight that individuals beginning their equity investing journey may be uncertain about choosing between Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap funds. While Large Cap investments are often associated with relative stability and Mid Cap and Small Cap segments with growth potential, investors may be concerned about choosing the wrong category or missing opportunities in other market segments.
Through its narrative, the campaign explains how Flexicap Funds can provide exposure across market capitalisations through a single investment solution. It also highlights the flexibility available to fund managers to dynamically allocate investments across Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap companies based on evolving market opportunities and investment outlooks.
Commenting on the campaign, Vipin Bhandari, Head – Retail Business, ICICI Prudential MF said “Category awareness is key to making informed investment choices. Flexi Cap offers investors the flexibility to participate across Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap companies through a single fund. With this campaign, we wanted to simplify that proposition and make it relatable. By using football as an analogy, we bring alive how different market segments can work together towards one investment objective—making Flexi Cap investing easier to understand and appreciate.”
The digital film is live across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X, as the mutual fund seeks to make the concept of Flexicap investing more accessible to investors
