New homes launched at Meridian Water, Enfield

A new collection of Shared Ownership apartments has launched at Meridian Water in the London Borough of Enfield, offering an accessible route into home ownership within one of Enfield Council’s largest and most ambitious regeneration neighbourhoods.
Delivered by SO Resi, the Shared Ownership brand from Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, the collection includes contemporary one, two and three-bedroom apartments. A 25% share of a one-bedroom apartment is available for £91,250, with a 5% deposit of £4,563.
SO Resi offers a more accessible route into home ownership by enabling buyers to purchase an initial share of property – ranging from 10% and 75%, but typically between 25% and 75% – while paying a mortgage on the share they own and a subsidised rent on the remainder. As circumstances change, buyers have the flexibility to purchase additional shares over time through a process known as staircasing, with the potential to eventually own their home outright.
Set within the London Borough of Enfield, the latest SO Resi homes comprise one, two and three-bedroom apartments, each featuring open-plan living spaces, contemporary interiors and a private balcony. The homes form part of the wider Meridian Water masterplan, one of Enfield Council’s largest regeneration projects, which is set to deliver 10,000 quality homes, create 6,000 jobs for local people and inject £3.6bn into the UK economy.
Residents at SO Resi Enfield will benefit from excellent connectivity, with Meridian Water station just moments away, offering direct services to Stratford and London Liverpool Street, while nearby Tottenham Hale provides quick access to the Victoria Line. Local parks, cafés and leisure destinations are also within easy reach, placing everyday amenities alongside fast connections into Central London.
Sarah Ellis, Director of Sales & Marketing at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, said: “We’re committed to helping more people overcome the barriers to homeownership and access high-quality homes in places where they can build their future. As one of London’s most ambitious regeneration projects, Meridian Water is transforming this part of Enfield into a vibrant new neighbourhood, with thousands of new homes, green spaces, amenities, jobs and excellent transport connections.
“Shared Ownership has an important part to play in making homeownership more accessible, particularly in London where affordability remains a challenge for many buyers. We’re proud to be launching our latest Shared Ownership homes at Meridian Water, giving more people the opportunity to take their first step onto the property ladder and become part of thriving new community from the very beginning.
Prices at SO Resi Enfield start from £91,250 for a 25% share of a one-bedroom apartment (full market value £365,000), available with a 5% deposit of £4,563.
Later this year, SO Resi will also introduce SO Flexi, its London Living Rent offering, at Meridian Water, providing an additional accessible pathway for those looking to take their first step towards home ownership.
