Foreign trading remains in net sell, BNBR holds top sell position

JAKARTA – Foreign investors’ stock trading value on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Friday (14/8) still closed with a net sell value.

After recording a net sell value of IDR 1.41 trillion on Thursday (13/8), foreign stock trading today closed with a net sell of IDR 1.03 trillion.

Foreign buying value weakened from IDR 3.83 trillion to IDR 3.23 trillion, while foreign selling value fell from IDR 5.24 trillion to IDR 4.27 trillion.

BNBR shares, which operate in the renewable energy sector, led the top sell value list, followed by stocks from the energy and technology sectors.

Here are the top 5 foreign net sells across all markets, including regular, negotiated, and cash markets:

  • PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) was recorded as the stock with the largest net sell value, amounting to IDR 392.1 billion. The issuer’s foreign transaction volume recorded a net sell reaching 3.92 billion shares.

  • PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) posted a net sell value of approximately IDR 265.5 billion. Its foreign transaction volume was recorded as a net sell of 130 million shares.

  • PT NexAI Digital Infrastruktur Tbk (MGLV) followed with a net sell value of IDR 138.1 billion, with a net sell volume standing at 19.53 million shares.

  • PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) posted a net sell value of IDR 127.9 billion. Its foreign transaction volume was a net sell of around 150 million shares.

  • PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) closed with a net sell value of IDR 85.3 billion. Its volume was recorded in a net sell position of 33.46 million shares.

Meanwhile, the top three positions on the top buy value list were held by SOE stocks: TINS, BBRI, and ANTM.
