The Dyson School, Johnson School, and Nolan School celebrate 10 notable alumni who have graduated in the last 10 years.

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is proud to announce its 2025 10 Under 10 Notable Alumni. The college recognizes 10 outstanding graduates who have made remarkable contributions to their industries and communities within a decade of earning their Cornell degrees. Representing the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, and the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration, this year’s honorees embody impact, innovation, and principled leadership.

Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management Honorees

Teevrat Garg, PhD ’15, is an associate professor of economics in the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California San Diego. He is a leading voice in environmental and development economics, and his research supports evidence-based policy and decision-making around climate adaptation, resource management, and inequality.

As a senior investment associate at PGIM, Diana Buckley ’19 has rapidly distinguished herself in global real estate investing, acquisition, and portfolio management, using analytical approaches to navigate dynamic markets. At PGIM, Buckley leads and supports a team responsible for more than $1.5 billion in commercial real estate debt investments annually.

Entrepreneur and strategist Karina Popovich ’23 oversees growth and marketing at DIMO, a connected-car platform leveraging blockchain to make car data sharing secure and rewarding. Across all her work, Popovich bridges innovation, problem-solving, and storytelling to amplify the impact of emerging technology.

 

 

Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management Honorees

As a partner at McKinsey & Co., Rahul Shahani, MBA ’16, is a leader in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain practice. Shahani counsels operations executives at top organizations on harnessing AI and driving sustainable change at scale. Known for his collaborative leadership, he helps organizations sustain high performance and achieve long-term strategic value.

Steven Raga, MBA/MS ’22, is a New York state assemblymember for District 30. A public servant and nonprofit leader, Raga represents Queens with a commitment to equity, community advocacy, and economic mobility. He is the first Filipino American and Southeast Asian elected to the New York State Legislature.

Brenna Farmer, MD, MBA/MS ’19, is chief of emergency medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and vice chair of emergency medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She also is an associate professor of clinical emergency medicine at Weill Cornell. Farmer is a nationally recognized leader in emergency medicine for advancing healthcare operations, quality improvement, patient safety, and medication safety.

A standout athlete-turned-Division I head coach, Connor Buczek ’15, MBA ’17, leads Cornell’s lacrosse program with vision, discipline, and pride for Big Red athletics. As the Richard M. Moran head coach of Cornell men’s lacrosse, he has elevated the program on and off the field.

 

 

Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration Honorees

Alice Navadeh ’21 is the senior director of partnerships and development at the Food Education Fund, a New York City-based nonprofit preparing underserved high school students for lifelong success through immersion in the hospitality field. A love of service drew her to the nonprofit sector to focus on food sustainability and curbing food insecurity.

As a principal for loyalty strategy and partnerships at Alaska Airlines, Alex Levy ’18 has helped shape some of the travel industry’s most innovative customer programs. Through growing leadership roles across Alaska Airlines, American Express, and United Airlines, he has collaborated with global teams to launch initiatives such as Atmos Rewards and Huaka‘i by Hawaiian at Alaska Airlines; Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge at American Express; and United Club Fly.

Jorge Bouras ’17 is the founder and CEO of Dos Amigos and Tres Leches. With the motto “making life a little better,” Bouras says he tries to energize himself and the people around him to see the purpose in the little things and to constantly evolve into a better version of themselves each day.

 

 

 

This year’s honorees reflect the SC Johnson College’s mission to transform the world through business. Their achievements across sectors and communities demonstrate the lasting impact of a Cornell education and the power of meaningful leadership.
