Ted Koenig, Chairman and CEO of Monroe Capital, delivered the featured closing remarks at “What’s the Deal with Deals?” in Chicago, sharing his perspective on the outlook for private equity, private credit and the middle-market transaction environment.
Koenig’s presentation, “The Outlook for Private Equity & Private Credit,” focused on the current middle-market transaction environment and the forces shaping private credit, private equity and capital markets in the year ahead.
During his remarks, Koenig addressed current deal activity, capital availability, financing conditions and the evolving opportunities and challenges facing private equity sponsors, lenders, investors and middle-market businesses.
“The private markets continue to evolve as investors, sponsors and management teams navigate changing capital conditions and a more selective transaction environment,” said Koenig. “It was a pleasure to share our perspective on where we are seeing opportunity across the middle market, how private credit continues to support borrowers and sponsors, and what market participants should be watching in the year ahead.”
The annual event, hosted by Ravinia Capital LLC, brought together investors, lenders, private equity professionals, investment bankers, attorneys and other deal professionals for a morning of market discussion, networking and perspectives on the evolving transaction environment.
