HDFC Mutual Fund has completed one year of Mission Samriddhi, its investor education initiative for India’s armed forces personnel and their families. Launched on Kargil Vijay Diwas in 2025, the programme has conducted more than 130 financial literacy sessions across Army, Navy and Air Force establishments, reaching over 15,000 defence personnel in its first year.
The initiative focuses on improving financial awareness through sessions on mutual funds, financial planning, disciplined investing and long-term wealth creation. According to the company, the programme has been held at defence establishments across the country, including locations such as Patiala, Ambala, Agra and Aizawl, and is designed to address the financial planning requirements of armed forces personnel and their families.
To extend support beyond these sessions, HDFC Mutual Fund has also introduced a dedicated missed-call helpline exclusively for armed forces personnel, allowing them to seek information and assistance related to mutual funds and investing.

The company said it plans to expand Mission Samriddhi to more defence establishments as the initiative enters its second year, with the aim of strengthening financial awareness among armed forces personnel and their families.
