According to a notice cum addendum, Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund will invest 65-100% in equity and equity-related instruments, 0-35% in money market instruments and other liquid instruments, gold and silver ETFs and units issued by InvITs and 0-35% in foreign equity and equity-related instruments, including overseas mutual funds/overseas ETFs.

Parag Parikh ELSS Tax Saver Fund will now invest 80-100% in equity and equity-related instruments and 0-20% in money market instruments/InvITs/Gold ETFs/silver ETFs/other liquid instruments/units of domestic mutual funds. Earlier, this allocation was 80-100% in equity and equity-related instruments and 0-20% in debt and money market instruments.
The largecap fund, Parag Parikh Large Cap Fund, after allocating 80-100% in equity and equity related securities of largecap companies, will allocate 0-20% in equities and equity related securities of other than largecap companies, equity & equity related securities of foreign companies including overseas mutual funds/ overseas ETFs and 0-20% in money market instruments / InvITs / gold ETFs / silver ETFs / Other liquid instruments/units of domestic mutual funds.
In case of Parag Parikh Arbitrage Fund, this fund under normal circumstances will now allocate 65-100% in equities and equity derivatives (equity hedged exposure) and 0-35% in certificate of deposits and government securities with maturities up to 1 year, units of domestic mutual fund schemes and overnight debt securities, gold and silver ETFs/ ETCDs.
Under defensive circumstances, the fund will allocate 0-65% in equities and equity derivatives (equity hedged exposure) and 35-100% in certificate of deposits and government securities with maturities up to 1 year, units of domestic mutual fund schemes and overnight debt securities, gold and silver ETFs/ ETCDs.Parag Parikh Conservative Hybrid Fund will allocate 75-90% in debt securities (including securitised debt) and money market instruments, 10-25% in equities and equity-related instruments including REITs, 0-10% in units issued by InvITs, and 0-15% in gold and silver ETFs, ETCDs.
The fund house also informed about a change in nomenclature of three funds. In the case of Parag Parikh ELSS Tax Saver Fund, the existing nomenclature is an open-ended equity-linked saving scheme with a statutory lock-in of 3 years and tax benefit, whereas the revised nomenclature will be an open-ended scheme with attributes in accordance with the Equity Linked Saving Scheme, 2005, notified by the Ministry of Finance.

In case of Parag Parikh Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund, the existing nomenclature of an open-ended dynamic asset allocation fund will be revised to an open-ended dynamic asset allocation fund investing in debt and equity instruments only. Parag Parikh Arbitrage Fund, whose existing nomenclature is an open-ended scheme investing in arbitrage opportunities, will be revised to an open-ended scheme investing in arbitrage opportunities with no investment in InvITs permitted.
The fund house also mentioned several factors that may affect the price of gold/commodity/silver.
