According to ANHA correspondent in Derik, a fire broke out in agricultural land between the villages of Krasor and Bana Shkefte in the Kojarat area of the Derik countryside. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
Emergency response teams from Derik, Rumeilan, and Kerziro were dispatched to the scene and, with the assistance of local residents, succeeded in bringing the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading further and reducing potential losses.
The fire burned portions of cultivated farmland, while no official information has yet been released regarding the extent of the damage or the total area affected by the blaze.
